Two of my greatest passions in life are travel and photography. For over a decade after I left high school, photography remained one of my long forgotten interests. Only after I discovered international travel did I decide to invest in a decent digital camera. It quickly became clear to me that travel and photography undoubtedly go hand in hand.

Photography has primarily been a great way to remember the places I’ve been, and the things I’ve seen or done.

What originally started out as a hobby has now evolved into an art form and a lifestyle. I often plan my travel based on locations I deem will make great photographs. Namely places with beautiful landscapes, architecture or diverse culture & wildlife. Having been based in the UK for a number of years, far away from my home country of New Zealand, I had Europe and Asia at my doorstep. Experiencing the other side of the world also installed in me a new appreciation of what my native country New Zealand has to offer. My list of potential destinations is continuously growing. My thrill is in not only the adventure itself but, being able to showcase the beauty of the world through the art of photography. I gain a great deal of satisfaction by the fact that through my images, I can provoke emotion and inspire people to experience the world outside of what they know, as well as to pursue photography as an interest. I constantly strive to capture the “perfect shot” by continuing to improve my knowledge of camera & lighting technique, searching for new scenery or studying astronomical events. My photos are for others to see the world, the way I have seen it. Every picture tells a story.

The beauty of the world is everywhere. It just takes the right pair of eyes to notice it.

Hello, my name is Georgia

I refer to myself as a “creative” simply because that’s what I am. That’s who I am. The creative process has been central to me for as long as I can remember. My parents still possess the evidence; hand-crafted cards, paintings, sketches, all manner of creations from my hyperactive imagination. This fascination has never ended for me, and over the years my love of art and the creative process has grown from a hobby to ultimately a career and a lifestyle. When I’m not working, taking photographs, designing, painting, or editing, you can probably find me at the gym (I compete in the NZIFBB), outdoors, cooking or doing a bit of home improvements or DIY! I’m constantly growing, learning & evolving to push myself personally and as an artist. I have a recent BMA “bachelor in media arts” and many years freelancing doing mainly wedding photography & videography as well as graphic design. I left my full time job as graphic designer in 2017 to pursue my own business and I now do a bit of part time child care too which I thoroughly enjoy! Going above and beyond the expectations of my clients is an unwaivering standard that I apply to my work. I specialise in Wedding Videography and to me being a part of many couples very special day is incredibly rewarding and I feel very blessed. I have a more documentary, natural and un-obtrusive “fly on the wall” approach with all of my photography and videography and aim to capture less staged shots.
